Dr. Farruggia's comprehensive dental examination includes assessment of the facial muscles, temporomandibular (jaw) joints, occlusion (bite), and how these components work together. He’ll also evaluate the health of your teeth and gums and screen for oral cancer.
For X-rays, we use digital radiography, which is faster and exposes you to 90-percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. Intraoral cameras with chairside monitors allow you to see what Dr. Farruggia sees so that you can understand your treatment options. After your thorough diagnostic assessment, Dr. Farruggia will present a treatment plan to restore optimal oral health and achieve the goals you want from your smile.
